Myself & my late husband Neil first met Jon & Caroline when Chloe became part of the same training group at Northwood Stadium as our daughter Emma. We hit it off immediately, so much so that Caroline & I used to run together whilst the girls were training. We would gauge how well we had done by the number of lampposts we managed to reach & Jon would laughingly tease us that we were like dogs looking for a wee!!
We had many good times as families but I especially remember Jon’s 50th birthday party with him dancing along to Northern Soul music, very impressed! It was a wonderful night for a wonderful man.
He will be so very much missed by his family & friends. Rest in Peace Jon.
Much love from Jan & Emma xx

Caroline.
I'm so sorry to hear that Jon has passed away. To say I was shocked is an understatement. I wondered why you'd had all the flowers then saw cards on the table. Jon was truly a really lovely, friendly man and will be missed by so many.
Heartfelt condolences to you and the family.
With love Alison Godwin (Nee Eaton).
