Thomas RobertHAILSTONEAfter 85 glorious years, Dr Tom Hailstone, passed away peacefully on Tuesday 31st August 2021. He was a GP, sailor, carpenter, gardener, Mason and all round fine gentleman who loved an occasional glass of whiskey. He will be sorely missed by his family and all who knew him, particularly his wife Norma and his children and grandchildren Bill, Henry, Liz and Victoria, Emily, Jude and Luke. There will be a memorial service at St Michael and All Angels church in Markfield on Friday 17th September at 2.30pm, followed by a wake at the Fieldhead Hotel in Markfield. Please make any memorial donations to the RNLI or Vista - his much loved charities. Bill, Henry & Liz

An incredible doctor who truly listened and never showed a grain of impatience to be in any other place. Without him continually helping me to focus on tomorrow I would not be here today as he tragically is not. My thoughts are with his family.
