I will never forget Colm's warm, welcoming nature when I trapsed into Wickfield Ash for piano lessons 30 years ago. Every conversation we had over the years has been full of genuine interest and curiosity. He will be very much missed.

Heartfelt condolences to Chris and all the family.

My condolences to Chris and all of her and Colm’s family.

I used their home as a regular hideaway while I was a teenager. Both Colm and Chris always made me feel welcome and treated me with incredible kindness. Colm always showed genuine interest in my life and it was always a pleasure to see him at events as we got older.

He should be proud he’s raised one of the strongest, caring and determined women I know in Abbie. Our thoughts are with you all who I know miss him dearly.

Jonny, Laura, Sasha and Clara.

I remember Col from school, riding my tandem back and forth. One of the best and a great co-pilot. Condolences to all his family. Pete (Joe) Sharpe.

Very sad news. Haven't seen Colm since we all left Burton for out various academic pursuits. At primary school there was healthy competition to beat each other in exam results.
Sincere sympathy.
