Mum ..Many years have gone by since you left us and not a day goes by that I don’t wish that you were still here. If only I could pick up the phone and hear your voice or to be held in your arms. Today is not your birthday or another special occasion it’s just another day where your loss feels as raw as the day you left.. I hope from where you are you can see the granddaughter you never met, how she calls you nanny and cries for you. I wish with all my heart that you had been here to meet Lois and Jakey but this was not meant to be so I’m hoping you are not too far away watching down on us and seeing your grandchildren grow. I hope also that Lois grows into the strong determined women that you were. I love you mum and miss you so much.
