John Robert ArthurRAINSLEYAged 81 years Died peacefully on Christmas Eve at St. Catherine's Hospice surrounded by his family. Devoted husband of Sheila for 59 years, loving and very proud father of Alison and John, father-in-law to Roger and Susi, grandad to Greg, Anthony and Lindsey, great-grandad to Leo and Phoenix, uncle to many, friend to everyone, he was there for us all and enjoyed life to the full. Freeman of the City of London, Charter Member of East Grinstead Lions Club and active member of East Grinstead Swimming Club. The funeral service will be held on Monday 14th January 2013 at the Surrey & Sussex Crematorium at 3.00pm. Family flowers only, donations if desired to St. Catherine's Hospice care of Ballard & Shortall Funeral Directors, East Grinstead. RH19 2HA.
