PiersWALTERSFormer Ophthalmic Optician Died peacefully at home on June 22nd 2019 after a long illness bravely borne. Beloved husband of Val, loving Dad to Fiona and Charles and precious Tadcu to Addiena, At peace now with the Lord. A true, true gentleman. A private cremation will be held prior to a Service of Thanksgiving at Mumbles Baptist Church on Wednesday 10th July at 12.30pm. Family flowers only please, but donations in lieu if desired for the refurbishment of Mumbles Baptist Church may be sent c/o Wyn Hutchinson, 2 Girton Villas, Glanmor, Swansea, SA2 0SL. He was the most amazing older brother who I will miss enormously. He bore his final illness with grace and courage and was always so grateful for all the help he received. Its such a comfort to know that as a Christian he is now "absent from the body, present with the Lord."
