Charles GilbyGOUGHIt is with great sadness that Charlie's family have to announce his peaceful passing on 6th. May at the age of 85 years at Cartmel Grange Nursing Home, Cumbria. He was with his wife, Linda, and in the thoughts of all his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him especially his children, Julie, Lesley, Debbie, Tony, Andrew and Darren. There is to be no funeral service though a celebration of Charlie's life will be arranged at a later date. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Langdale and Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team. Details can be found online.

I am now able to add updates. Charlie will be mentioned in a church service tomorrow morning. Many thanks to my son-in-law, Jim, for arranging this. The actual cremation will be first thing on Friday, 15th. May. 💕
