Beloved husband to Philippa, loving father to Fran, Ed, Gabi and Letitia, wonderful Big Pa to Arlo, Joanie, Betsy, Peggy and Ari, brother to Nicola. He dedicated his life to Paediatric Neurosurgery, was an advocate for global surgery and co-founded InterSurgeon. William will be laid to rest at St Kew. William and I were fellow oarsmen in the Birmingham University Rowing Club. He was an inspiration to us all in the boat and a great friend out of it. Shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. Graham Troilett
