PollyNOBLEEllen of Hauxton peacefully passed away on 11th May, at the age of 32. She was the beloved daughter of John and Georgie, a wonderful sister to Ben and Chloe and a doting auntie to little Freddie. A funeral service and celebration of her life will be held. Family flowers only, but donations to her favourite charities (Yes to Life and Orangutan Foundation) can be sent to Weyman Funeral Service, 26 Abbey Walk Cambridge CB1 2QJ. Telephone 01223 354289. A non-sombre dress code is requested and please wear something with a heart print or leopard print, as she always did.

I was very sorry to hear of Polly's passing. I never had the privilege of meeting her but she was an inspiration just the same. I take some comfort from the fact that I took the trouble to tell her this. And that, typically, she took the time to send a gracious reply. Polly touched so many lives, which are forever enriched. Surely, there can be no greater legacy. Goodbye, Polly. May you rest in eternal peace.
