The obituary notice of Lynne RING

Lynne, your feet were always on the ground despite your many stellar abilities which we only glimpsed whilst walking. A sound head for business, creative yet practical, responsible and conscientious, yet always smoothed by a sense of fun and always up for just a little bit more adventure. Your easy humanity made your company always relaxing and enjoyable. Despite all that Life had thrown at you the style and grace was always there, even when wet and covered with mud after a long walk. Your modesty and humility hid an enormous wealth of knowledge and experience. I only saw a tiny part of what you were and what you meant to your many friends but quite enough to know that your will be leaving a huge gap in lots of peoples lives. Most of all I have some idea of what you meant to your family and especially your children and grandchildren- I know the gap you leave will never be filled but you will always be an inspiration to them from which they will always be able to draw hope, love and pride in your life, well lived.

Lynne was a such a warm hearted, kind, loving person with a great sense of humour. Lots of lovely memories of putting the world to rights and laughter. Love to Jess, Neil and families xxxx

I met and played Petanque with Lynne at East Devon, a lovely lady with a ready smile and always fun.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In memory of a lovely friend and the times we met up and put the world to rights. I will really miss those special times.
