JoanSTEAD (Nee Coleman)Sadly passed away 7th December 2021 aged 87 years. Reunited with loving husband Joe. Dearly loved Mam of Tony, Paddy, Chris, Paul, Therese, Maria and the late Angela. Loving Nana of Michael, Gemma, Karina, Laura, Ben, Holly, Nat, Frankie, Sim and Anthony. Adored Great Nana of her little treasures Matilda, Madeleine, Maizie, Freddie, Eadie and Isobella. Funeral service and interment to take place on Friday 4th February at Eastern Cemetery at 1.00pm. Resting at John Parkin & Son, 3 Saltshouse Road. Tel. 376104.

So sorry to hear the sad news about auntie Joan, a lovely lady who was always good to our family while we were growing up and we all thank you for that. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Nana, there’s no words to describe the void that you’ve left! You truly were THE BEST nana anyone could wish for! Nothing was ever too much, whether it be letting me & Holz bring butterflies into your caravan even though they terrified you or you staying up until midnight to make sure I got in ok from a night out! You made the best toast and read the best stories, BFG was our favourite! Wherever you where felt like home! I can’t say goodbye Nana so for now I’ll say I’ll see you soon!
