Sarah Jane (Jean)TURNBULL (née Greener)(née Greener) (Jean) (Crawcrook) Passed away peacefully on Wednesday 18th May 2022 at Rose Tree Care Home, aged 93 years. Devoted wife of George (deceased 2012) dearly loved mother of Julie and Alison and mother in law of David and Karen. Treasured grandmother of Stephanie, Hannah, Sophie and Luke and dear sister of Alma and Doris. Funeral service to take place at St. Mary Magdalene Church, Prudhoe on Wednesday 1st June at 10:30am followed by cremation at West Road Crematorium at 11:45am. Family flowers only please, donations will be gratefully received for Cancer Research and Vision Northumberland. Jean would have loved to see people dressed in colourful clothes, rather than wear dark clothes to her funeral. Co-op Funeralcare Prudhoe 01661 833078

Jean was not only a much loved member of her family but a special friend to all staff and residents here at Rose Tree
we are going to miss that cheeky smile and not forgetting the regular dirty jokes that kept us all going during lock down. You were one in a million and were going to miss you so much.

You meant so much to me ,you were special and that’s no lie you brightened up the darkest day and the cloudiest sky. Your smile alone warmed hearts, your laugh was like music to hear, I would give absolutely all the care in the world to have you well and standing near.many tears I’ve cried they have all poured out like rain.I know that you are happy now and no longer in any pain.
