Phyllis GeorginaVINCEVINCE Phyllis Hilda Georgina. Passed away on March 20th 2008, eleven days short of her 100th birthday. Beloved wife of the late George, loving mother of Margaret and David and a dear grandma and great-grandma. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Funeral Wednesday April 2nd. Service and cremation 3.40pm at Markeaton Crematorium. Family flowers only please but if desired donations in lieu made payable to County Air Ambulance may be sent to G. Wathall & Son Ltd., 101, Macklin Street, Derby. DE1 1LG. Telephone 01332 345268.

Phyllis was a really lovely person and mother to my oldest friend David (son). My wife and I together with David and Maria were always made welcome when we got back to her house after the football matches at the old Baseball Ground where she made us a lovely cup of tea and gave us some biscuits.
We stayed to watch the results whilst the traffic died away.
We also saw her a lot when she visited David and Maria who lived (still do) next door to us.
Sadly missed by us.
