Sydney (Syd)WOODSpassed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on 13th May 2022, aged 66 years. Beloved husband of Maureen. Much loved Dad of Steven, Gary and the late Kylie, a dear Stepdad of Karen, Kathleen, Coleen and Jason. Much loved Grandad and Great-Grandad. He will be sadly missed by all family and friends. Please meet at Cowpen Crematorium, Blyth on Wednesday 1st June at 2:30pm. Family flowers only please, donations if desired for Cancer Research UK may be given on the day. All welcome afterwards at Ashington Comrades Social Club.

Maureen and the family would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who was able to attend Syds service and for all of their kind wishes. The collection on the day, together with a collection from Syds work friends at Royal Mail, resulted in a very generous £342.10

Syd will be always missed, but never forgotten. xx
