Jean RosamundASHTON (Mum)Mum Our precious Mum, aged 86, died peacefully at home on the 16th April with her loved ones by her side. A wonderful Mum to Chris, Mandy, Tracey & Lori and a special Mother in law to Jerry, Kerry & Roy. Due to Covid restrictions there will be a private funeral on Wednesday 28th April at 10.45. The family would welcome all those who knew her to say farewell by lining the streets of Deer Park Drive. Funeral cars are arriving at 10.20. Mum, death is nothing at all. You have only slipped away to the next room, I am I, you are you. Whatever we were to each other, that we still are, we will call you by your old and familiar name. We will speak to you in the easy way which we always did. We will put no difference in our tone and wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. You've left us all to go to Dad and Daniel but you never went alone. For the heart of us went with you on the day God took you home. Chris, Mandy, Tracey & Lori xx

50+years between us and you were my bestest friend in the whole world. You were my world. 2 1/2 years of knowing you wasn’t long enough. I never got to say goodbye properly or tell you I loved you once more. We’ve cried on each other, we’ve laughed so much we’ve cried again, you built me up, you taught me to be strong, you taught me to be as fierce as you and not to let anyone put me down. You always had faith in everything I did.I just wish I could see you one last time to tell you everything I didn’t get to tell you. A huge void in my life now but I will fill that with all our happy times. Watching lion king,monkeys, eating marshmallows and putting the world to rights. I will think of you everyday and I will achieve everything we talked about. Your at rest now with Bob who you adored. Reunited at long last. One day we will be reunited until then don’t ever stop shining down on everyone with that tongue poking out ❤️❤️

Jean, I was blessed to have met you as your carer. We soon became friends and always had a laugh. The tears I’ve cried for you I’ve turned into happy tears, as I know you wouldn’t want to see anyone sad. Thank you for being you and for showing me lots of meanings to life.
