GlynASKAMIt is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glyn, who passed away peacefully after a short illness with his loving family by his side at Scunthorpe General Hospital on 20th February 2023, aged 90 years. Very dearly loved husband of Theresa, loving Dad of Jill, Claire and Katie, treasured Grandad of Sophie, Amy, Ben and Brad and Great-Grandad of Ellie-Mai, Ashley, Rylan, Yasmin and Evie. Glyn will be sadly missed by all family and friends. A funeral service to celebrate Glyn's life will be held at Grimsby Crematorium on Friday 17th March 2023, at 12 noon. Flowers or donations in lieu may be left at the service, to benefit 'The Lincoln and Lindsey Blind Society'. A sad loss, it's a few years since I've seen Glyn, but he was my muse and mentor when at the tender age of 19 I started working at The Punchbowl, with his support and guidance I went on to run my own pubs. My thoughts are with Theresa and his family.
