Sally JaneBENSTEADPeacefully in Dove House Hospice on the 17th November 2022 aged 70 years. Dearly loved Wife of John. Much loved Mum of Claire and Chris, In-laws Adam and Bryony. Devoted Grandma to Ralph, Chloe, Matilda and Amelia. Funeral service to take place on Monday 5th December at the Haltemprice Crematorium 10.30am. Family flowers only please but donations if desired will be divided between Dove House Hospice and Alzheimer's Society, collection plate at the service. Resting at John Parkin & Son, 3 Saltshouse Road. Tel. 376104.

Dear John. I found the service very moving and a wonderful tribute to your lovely Sally. You did so much together. I know it is many years since we last met but I do remember our cricketing days with great affection. It is such a shame that only on these occasions we meet up again after such a long absence. Bless you John and your lovely family.
