Happy memories of Mr Greg Brookes especially at the the disco at Beaconthorpe Methodist Church on a Wednesday tea time in the early 70s. The record player would be on a chair in the centre the stage.Greg ran the dance off, he would give out prizes for the best dancer. Later he became my RE teacher, I had total respect for him, a good man who will be sadly missed.Charles Jackson

Very sad to hear of Mr Brooke passing, condolences to his family, especially Ros who was a neighbour in Robson Road. I have lovely memories of a wonderful holiday in Kandersteg in Switzerland 🇨🇭, such a lovely man and very firm but fair RE teacher. Rest easy 'Sir'. God Bless and thank you for the memories!
