Gwenda MaureenCOTTRELLof Tawelfan, Llwydcoed, Rhiwbina. Passed away suddenly but peacefully after a short illness on 28th December 2023 at The University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff.

Beloved wife of the late Michael (Mike).

Funeral service to be held on Tuesday 23rd January 2024 at the Thornhill Crematorium, Briwnant Chapel 2.15pm.

Family flowers only.

Gwenda, without you I am not what I am today. You were the head teacher who invited me to St. Nicholas School 34 years ago, and it was the beginning of my long-lasting bond with Wales. You had been my mentor, my best friend, and my guide. There are too many memories I had with you, and I am so so sorry that I won't be able to read your mails that are full of humour. Thank you very much for everything you did for me. Please do enjoy the new life with Mike up in heaven. with lots and lots of love, Chi xxx
