Bill & Kath were highly regarded by my Mum & Dad especially during their times in Tweenbrook Avenue. Sadly Dad too passed last year & Mum is in Care Home now. I will always be grateful to (neighbour) Bill for teaching me to swim at a very early age, and getting me Brian Cloughs Autograph when he once visited Gloucester Leisure Centre as was. Love to Kathy and family, Just to let you know I’ve never forgotten Bill, he was a great guy.
Carl Russell.

Picture this, lovely sunny Sunday morning Rita and I had decided to have a lazy day in the garden, phone rang, hello girls Bill here you know we moved again recently and we need hands on deck to put up an RSJ in the new sitting room. Off we went to the new Dowdeswell residents about six of us all balancing on a plank then Bill says on the count of three lift we were all fairly blue in the face by the time the RSJ was in situ, happy days thank God we were 35 years younger.
RIP Bill, a proper gentleman.
Love Doreen and Rita xx
