I knew Les for several years, both at work and in retirement. We used to catch up occasionally for a meal and a pint, and a laugh. He was good natured, had a great sense of humour, and will be missed. Rest in Peace.

I only met Les a few years ago but in that short time as we both shared the same sense of humour, became good friends.
He'll be missed by everybody.

Dear Uncle Les you will be deeply missed. You always had a smile on your face and were such a joy to be around. I wish we could have seen each other more in these later years but the memories we have will live on forever. Rest in peace Uncle Les.

I was lucky enough to see Les recently after 34 years. Still a twinkle in his eye. I know how missed he will be by his family. Thinking of you all. Cousin Helen

I’m so sad to say goodbye to my Uncle Les, and I wish I could be there for the service. I remember visiting my uncle when I was about 10 or 11 years old, and we had dinner at The Lion Inn with my mom and dad. I remember how happy I was to be in England with family I wasn’t able to see often, and I wish I had been able to return to visit again before Uncle Les passed. I will always remember his great sense of humor and how much he loved cheeseburgers when he would visit the US. We weren’t as close as I would’ve liked to have been, but I love my uncle and I will miss him so much. At least now he’s reunited with his parents (my granddad and grandma) and is in a better place where he isn’t suffering. Uncle Les, I hope you know how much you meant to this family and how much you will be missed by all of us. We love you. Love, Jes
