MollyHUTTONVeronica Mary Hutton, Molly to her friends, sadly passed away at the age of 101. Born in Bristol in 1920, she spent most of her life living in Newquay, running the Harbour cafe where she made many friends. Molly volunteered for the RNLI ladies committee for over 40 years and received a medal for her long service. She spent years volunteering at the RNLI shop at the harbour and made frequent appearances on the carnival floats to raise money. In her later years, Molly enjoyed visiting Costa for her daily coffee, where they dedicated a book corner to her. A strictly private ceremony is to be held in memory of Molly at St Columb Minor Church, donations to the RNLI. As a farewell to Molly, the Karen Elizabeth Cup gig race (in memory of her daughter who passed away at the age of 24) will be held at 7pm on the evening of the 25th June, at Newquay Rowing Club.
