GraceKERRPeacefully at home on Sunday 13th June 2021, following a long illness bravely fought. Grace aged 73, loving wife to the late Gordon Kerr, beloved Mum to Amanda and Wendy and a much loved Grandma to Lewis and Abi. All who knew her will sadly miss her. We would like to thank our relatives, friends and neighbours for all their help and support and the kind expressions of sympathy, and the many cards, flowers and messages we have received. Also, our heartfelt thanks to all the carers, district nurses and the ACCORD Hospice team whose care and support was invaluable throughout Mum's illness. Due to government guidelines a private funeral service will take place on Tuesday 29th June at St Mark's Church Oldhall and then at Hawkhead Cemetery. A recording of the service will be available upon request from the church office at St Mark's Church for members of the congregation who wish to join us in celebrating Mum's life. For other friends and family wishing access to the recording please contact Amanda or Wendy.

Very sorry to hear the news today. My mum (Nan Gill, previously Watson) was good friends with Grace over a long period of time at St Mark's. Your mum also very kindly visited mine latterly, during my mother's many years in hospital. Grace (Mrs Kerr to me!) was also my Sunday school teacher about 40 years ago. Sending love and condolences to family and friends. - Mark Watson x
