Malcolm JohnPLATTPLATT - MALCOLM JOHN , December 9, 2020. Reunited with his dad (Frank), much loved son of Cathy and loving brother of Neil and Alan. You were strong, brave and kind. I text Malcolm yesterday, to say merry christmas, I feared something had happened when he didn’t reply. He & my Dad made friends when in hospital together. My dad passed away in sept and I found messages on his phone, they’d sent to each other. Little nicknames and ‘in jokes’ that Mal explained to me. It was a comfort to know my dad had a friend in hospital as C19 meant we were unable to visit. Malcolm came to his funeral and we met in touch since. I’m so sad to learn he’s passed. He told me he had plans to have a pint with my dad, I’m just sorry it’s in the next life and not this. I’m sending lots of love to Mals family. Thinking of you at Christmas x Kirsty Doyle x
