Alan FrancisSHIELD(Benwell, formerly Scotswood) Passed away on 3rd October 2021, aged 88 years. Alan, beloved Husband to the late Evelyn. Loving Father to the late Trevor. Alan had 50 years service at Vickers Armstrong. Our Alan, with a heart of gold, has finally given up his fight. Adored partner of Susan, best pal of Paul and devoted to Donna, Daymon, Cooper and Ruby. Goodnight, God bless. Alan will be sadly missed but forever in our thoughts. Service to be held at West Road Crematorium on Friday 15th October at 2.45pm. All welcome back to Scotswood Social Club after funeral. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of flowers to Journey and Dementia U.K.
