AlanSMITHSmith on 1st May 2010 peacefully in Salisbury District Hospital Major Alan Frederick, aged 88 years of Shaftesbury. Husband of Joan, father of Jenny, Malcolm and Lizzie, who will be sadly missed by all family and friends. Funeral Service takes place at Salisbury Crematorium on Tuesday 11th May at 2.15pm. No mourning clothes necessary. No flowers but donations if desired to The Royal British Legion, Shaftesbury Branch may be sent to Merefield and Henstridge Funeral Directors, Ridgemount, Melbury Abbas, Shaftesbury, Dorset, SP7 0BU. Telephone 01747-853532. Those of you who cannot make the service are very welcome to join the family at The Royal Chase Hotel at 4pm.
