Stanley DouglasSMITH (Stan)Stan Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Friday 31st July 2020 at The Royal Derby Hospital, aged 88 years. Stan was an inspiration to us all, with his positive attitude over the past four and a half years to Melanoma Cancer, but sadly lost his battle to a massive brain haemorrhage. Dearly beloved Husband to Carolyn, much loved Dad to Simon, Matt, Debbie and the late Sarah. Devoted Grampy to Ryan, Ashia, Thomas, Jake and Roshaun. Treasured Father-in-Law to Kirstie and the late Onika, Son-in-Law to Irene Coxon. Brother, Brother-in-Law, Uncle, Great-Uncle and a very dear Friend to all who knew and loved him. Due to the current restrictions the funeral at Markeaton Crematorium on Friday 21st August at 1.20pm will be private. No flowers by request please, but if desired donations for 'Rainbows Hospice' may be given directly to the family. All enquiries to Co-operative Funeralcare, Chaddesden. Tel 01332 281442
