JuneTOONJune died peacefully at home with her husband Roy and son Steve at her bedside. Aged 74 years. June will be greatly missed by her extended family as Great-Grandmother to Arabella, Great Aunt to Roman, Sam, Edward & Sophie. Grandmother to Ethan, Lewis, Nicholas & Christian. Aunt to Heather, Richard, Azaria & Jasmine. Sister-in-law to Valerie, Richard & Lynn. Mother-in-law to Sally. June's Funeral Service will take place at Loughborough Crematorium on Wednesday 8th November at 11.00am. Followed by refreshments and a reflection of June's life hosted at the Queen Victoria Restaurant, Syston Family flowers only please. I am so sorry I missed this. Words are hard to come by but I just hope Roy knows how highly people regard him for his years of love and care for a warm human being who gave so much to the children at her school. There are times when things just make no sense.

My mum just sent me this link as Mrs Toon was one of my early years teachers, I remembered her straight away, although I can't recall many memories from such a young age seeing her photo brought up nice feelings and I remembered how kind and warm a person she was. Sorry to hear she has passed. Rest in peace.
