EileenWADE (NEE JOHNSON)Suddenly, but peacefully, after a short illness passed away on the 2nd of July 2023 aged 74. Dearly loved wife of the late Dennis, cherished and adored mum of Lucy and Katie. Eileen was a loving sister, sister-in-law, aunty and mother-in-law. Beloved nanna of Harry, Tom and Adam. Eileen was a good friend to many and will be dearly missed by all. A celebration of Eileen’s life will take place on Tuesday 1st August at 10:40am at Woodlands Crematorium, Scunthorpe. Immediate family flowers only, but any donations to these two charities Breast Cancer Care and Mayflower Animal Sanctuary that mum supported would be greatly appreciated. If you would like to wear a splash of colour and more importantly anything to do with The Beatles, who mum was a massive fan of, you are welcome to do so. We would like to invite family and friends to join us afterwards at Ingleby Arms, Amcotts. Eileen is now resting in the care of Ashby Funeral Care, 174 Ashby High Street, Scunthorpe, DN16 2JR. There's not going to be a day that goes by that I won't think you'll be there beside me crushing those quizzes with your intelligence. You've always been the strongest person I know and been there for my sister and I no matter what. The world is a darker place without you. It lost one of its brightest stars too soon. You always told me the stars were loved ones watching over us, so keep shining wherever you are.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. I love you mum.
