Francis ((Frank))BIRCH(Frank) Aged 98, died peacefully in his sleep on the morning of Friday, 27th November, 2020, in the kind and compassionate care of the most sympathetic Staff at Linlithgow Care Home. Heartfelt thanks also to the Nursing and Care Staff at St. Michael's Hospital, Linlithgow and family GP. Beloved and devoted husband of the late Margaret (Peggy) J. C. (nee McWhirter), a treasured Dad of daughters, Robina, Mary and Ray; a much loved father-in-law of Alan and Douglas; a very proud papa to Andrew and Carolyn, Jennifer and Alison and Fiona and David; great papa to 14. Son of James and Mary Birch, late of Dalrymple; brother of Norman, Alec, George (all deceased) and Adam. A true gentleman with a great sense of humour and a story for every occasion. A sincere friend to many and loved and admired by everyone who knew him. Due to current restrictions a private funeral will be held at Falkirk Crematorium on Monday, 14th December at 1pm. Family flowers only. Donations, if wished, can be sent to Prostate Cancer Scotland.
