It was with great sadness that my wife and I heard of Cyril's dying. He was with us 5-6th March felling an ash tree in the garden. He, of course, updated us on latest Osprey and Eagle activities and was in tremendous form as we relaxed on the lawn enjoying stories and banter . Although we've met only intermittently over 20 years or so, we will always remember him with fondness for his kindness and great character.
