ChrisCUNLIFFEThere is a saying, 'A man lives for as long as we carry him inside us for as long as we ourselves live, holding memories in common, a man lives'
We often reminisce together about you and always end up laughing over some antics from long ago or some mischief you got up to, we have so many much cherished stories. Sometimes we wonder what you would have thought about various events, happy or sad, that have happened within the family over the years. You would definitely have had opinions!
Others were naturally drawn to you too and you made life long friends easily. We still meet old friends and neighbours and they invariably want to talk about you and share all sorts of tales and memories. They usually end up laughing or tearful, such was the bond you shared.
You were such a character, full of life, caring, thoughtful, loyal and so very protective of family and your many friends. We, and so many people who knew you as a boy, teenager and young man, have a deep well of precious memories on which to draw, and we do. You, Chris, live on.
Catherine, Margaret and families.
