Two of the greatest influences in my life. I hope and pray that I can live up to their expectations. I miss you both.

I’ll always remember my Aunty Nancy as a bright, down to earth and carefree lady who’d put the kettle on and make you a sandwich or offer you cake whenever you turned up even if it was an unannounced visit.

She was charming and welcoming to my fiancée Lesley, now my wife of nearly 50 years and I loved visiting her and seeing her smile - something I regret not doing more often.

May she rest in peace after her years of illness and confusion and may those who were closest to her rejoice and celebrate her long life rather than be overwhelmed by sadness at her passing.
