John DeclanLOUGHNANELoving son of the late Maresa and Declan Loughnane. Sadly missed by his aunts and uncles, cousins and friends. Tragically lost his life in an accident on 29th June 2019. Reunited with his loving Mum and Dad and twin baby sisters. Requiem Mass to be held on Friday 9th August 2019 in All Soul's Church Coventry at 12 noon, followed by cremation at Cannon Hill Chapel, Canley Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Writing with great sadness on behalf of members of Rugby Chess Club. John will be missed by many players of chess in this area. I have played against John several times over the years and he was unfailingly kind towards junior players and thoughtful and friendly to others too. (This is not always the case with chess players!) On behalf of our teams I pass along our sympathies to his family and friends, including the chess players at Coventry Chess Club where I know he will be missed. Very sad news.
