I was lucky enough to have Mr Taylor as my teacher twice between, I guess, 1992-1995.
He was the best teacher I ever had and he still comes up in conversation now I'm in my 30's. Shows what an impact he had on people.
I looked up to him and although I don't remember the classes, I do remember the times I stayed after-class to talk to him about home-life and any other questions I had about the World which he was always happy to take the time and answer. I felt like I could talk to him about anything.
That was the true sign of a great teacher.
He's also the guy that, when I was 10, told me "Beef" was Cow... Which turned me vegetarian... to the horror of my parents! =p
I always hoped I would bump into him again, most likely whilst he would be riding his bike and when I was old enough to go get a drink with him.
He will be missed.
Walk like an Egyptian, Mr Taylor <3
