Well, mam, a year today, we were on one of our girls-only trips. This one was to Glasgow; I didn't feel like going as I hadn't felt well at all. We didn't know it was the first day of a very long journey to find out that I wasn't well at all. You helped me every step of the way and sat with me whenever you could. When Covid stopped us being together, you sat on a seat in my garden, so we were close somehow. How I wish we cut have one more hour to chat again. I still keep picking up my phone, thinking I need to write you a quick text; we were always the first up in the morning. Take care and stay safe our sign off each time we chatted. Your forever safe now. 'Til we meet again someday. xx — feeling heartbroken.

I will miss our chats on the doorstep, vey much. I'm in Scotland at work on Tuesday, but will try and get on the webcast to wave you goodbye. I wish you many great times at the 'big club' in the sky with your hubby, as I'm sure they have one there too🤗 🥰

Mam will leave home on her journey to be with Dad once again around quarter to three. The funeral procession will drive along the top of Whitefield Crescent and up West View taking a right turn at the roundabout, driving past the 'big' club where she made so many happy memories with Bob, her late husband and our Dad. If you can't make it to the crematorium at Blyth, please join us at Pegswood club from 4 o'clock through to 8 o'clock to help us celebrate her life and make some more memories.
