Truly saddened to hear that Johnny has passed away. I feel lucky to have shared experiences and travelled with Johnny, when we lived together in London and later in Russia, Rostov on Don. Last time we saw each other he was stepping onto the Moscow Express. Safe travels my friend. Love to Johnny's family. Sean.

I’ve just found out about Johnny. We were great friends at Edinburgh College of Art and put the world to rights regularly over a few libations in the hostelries of Auld Reekie. A kind and gentle soul who I’ll miss terribly but I feel glad to have known all these years. You were a one off Johnny and I can’t believe you’re gone. X
