Mervyn was above all a bon viveur. He had a larger-than-life personality. Mervyn was a most experienced solicitor. He had the capacity to instill confidence in the clients he represented. He would fight tooth and nail for these clients. Mervyn had the judgment of understanding when an injustice was being done and would fearlessly take steps to seek redress. There are many who owe much to Mervyn's professional crusades. He will be missed.

There are no words to tell you how much we will miss you. Our gang of 4 is now 3 and we will always remember and talk about you in everything we continue to do together. We will never stop smiling and laughing about all the magical times we shared and Chris and I will look after Mary always.
