Peter Johnson, of Manchester Street, Derby, passed away suddenly on Friday 8th May 2026, aged 59 years.
A treasured and much-loved dad to Monica, son to Margaret and brother to Belinda and her husband Colin.
He was also very loved by all his family and friends, including his colleagues at Derwent Lodge.
In recent years, Peter had found comfort in his spiritual beliefs and was welcomed to Derby City Church. It is here where Peter's life will be remembered.
Peter's funeral, and a celebration of his life, will be held on Friday 12th June 2026.
You are welcome to attend as follows:
Funeral: Derby City Church at 12 midday service (7 Curzon St, Derby DE1 1LH)
A short Crematorium service at 1.30pm (Markeaton Crematorium, Markeaton Ln, Derby DE22 4NH).
If Peter ever touched your life, past or present, or if you want to be there to support his family and friends, you will be welcomed with open arms to join us at:
Little Darley in the Park from 2.30pm until 11pm - Children welcome until 9pm (Darley Street, Darley Abbey, Derby, DE22 1DX). If you cannot make the funeral services, you may join us later at Little Darley.

Donations, in memory of Peter, will go to his workplace 'Derwent Lodge', and to the 'Thrivemind Village' in Derby (a donation box will be provided at all venues).
