Susan was a well-qualified Biologist, Teacher and Environmentalist She was also an extensive and enthusiastic Traveller and Lib-Dem Activist
Raised in Southwell, she attended local Primary Schools and Newark High School, where she taught after graduation.
In the early 1970s she moved to Somerset, where she taught until her retirement from the Post of Assistant Principal at Frome College. She moved from Somerset to Yorkshire in 2019.
