I thought of you today, but that is nothing new, I thought of you yesterday, and will tomorrow too.
It broke my heart to lose you, but you didn't go alone, A part of me went with you, the day God called you home.
A million words won't bring you back, I know because I have tried, neither will a million tears, I know because I have cried.
With everything to live for, and so much love to share, only God will know, why He took you in His care, but I know someday that we'll meet, and will never part again.
