Oh, I am so sad to see this today. Joe was a boss, a friend a confidant and a pal. I worked with Joe in Saudi in the 80's and got to know him very well, experiencing lots of tough times as well as some hilarious times. Joe was one of the first people to contact me in 2007 after I experienced severe Cardiac Issues and he maintained contact throughout my recover ( a true pal). Ann, Paul and Young Joe I extend my sincerest sympathy to you all and know that Joe will be very much missed by all of you, in addition to those outside of the family who were lucky enough to know him.

I found this notice as I was looking for the phone number of Joe as I wanted to come and visit him during my planned trip to Scotland in a few months time, sadly I will not be able to meet with my old pal again.

Today is a very sad day for me. God speed Joe. R.I.P.

Joe

I have just seen this week's AP and read about Joe's death. I did not see the original notice so sadly missed the funeral. I have fond memories of living next door to Joe in our early years and our weekend outings to the old Prestwick Airport (no TV in these days). Joe was a lovely man and I am so sorry I didn't see more of him. He kindly attended my Mum's funeral back in 2008. My deepest sympathy Anne. Again, I am so sorry I didn't know earlier about his death as I would like to have paid my respects. Best Wishes. Les
