PeterTURNERPassed away peacefully 14th December 2020 aged 69 years. Will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Funeral service to take place at St Thomas More, Sheldon, Friday 22nd January at 11.00 am. followed by committal at Robin Hood Crematorium. No flowers please, donations if desired to Marie Curie, or Macmillan Nurses, c/o Jonathan Walker Funeral Directors, 286 Church Road, Sheldon, B26 3YH. For those of you unable to attend you can watch the service via live stream at St Thomas More, Sheldon.

An amazing colleague with a gentle and caring soul. A man of patience and loyalty summed up by my daughters who new him as children as a truley lovely man. It was a priviledge to know you, work with you and share good and difficult times with you. I will always remember you with a smile. Bill Griffin

Pete, your irrepressible good humour and care carried me through years of working at Park Hall. You inspired the children you taught - and the older children who never grew up like me - with you knowledge and your ability to do the right thing in good times and bad, and to do it with a grin and a wry comment. An example - you taught me wood turning and every time I use the bowl you helped me make I think of you, and it makes me smile. There must be lots of us whose lives you've touched in the same way. Thank you.
