Graham IJONESPassed away peacefully on 25th May 2026, aged 93. Beloved brother and brother-in-law to Gareth and Sandra, much-loved uncle to Lynne, Ceri and Helen, proud great-uncle, and dear friend to many. He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

Graham will be remembered for his outstanding achievements and lifelong dedication to the sport of bowls. He began bowling at Beaufort Bowling Club in the 1950s and devoted many years of service to the game. At just 23 years of age, he took on the role of Club Secretary. He later served as President of Monmouthshire County Bowling Association, President of the Welsh Bowling Association in 1991, and President of the British Isles Bowling Association. Graham also had a great love of theatre and opera. He was an accomplished performer who enjoyed reciting monologues, public speaking, and appearing in numerous productions. Among his favourite roles was that of Henry Higgins at Beaufort Theatre, one of many memorable performances throughout his life.

A private funeral service will be held at Graham's request. A private celebration of his life for family and close friends will be held by invitation only.
