MargaretSLOANMargaret Sloan, much loved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, went to join our dad, George, on Wednesday 27th June 2018. She faced up to a lengthy and difficult illness with her characteristic positive attitude but when the time came, she was very ready to leave. Margaret was well known locally - as a Head of Guidance at Holy Cross High School for many years and with George as a fantastic Ballroom Dancer, a regular at dances in many Blantyre Clubs. We're all very sorry to be saying goodbye to our mother, but want to focus on celebrating the life of an intelligent, successful, vivacious woman, who loved people and a good blether. The funeral will take place on Monday 9th July, at 11am, in South Lanarkshire Crematorium. All friends are very welcome to come along and help celebrate Margaret's life. - Carol, Karen and Nicola.
