DavidBETTANEYPeacefully in hospital with his family by his side on Thursday 16th October 2025, aged 79 years and of Oakenholt, Flintshire.
Beloved husband of Delia, wonderful father and father in law of Laura and Simon, Rohan and Sarah and the late beloved Ellen. He was the proud grandfather of Elena and Tom, Harriet, Oscar and Hugo.
Dave was a Metallurgist by profession but his passion was cycling and racing with the Anfield Bicycling Club which he joined aged 13 and supported for the rest of his life.
He will be very much missed by his family and many friends.
Funeral Service will be at Northop Crematorium on Monday 10th November at 11am and afterwards at the Celtic Arms, Northop.
Family flowers only please, donations in memory of David will be gratefully received for Parkinson's UK.
