Maria ConcettaCARIOPeacefully passed away on Tuesday 14th April, 2026 at Morriston Hospital. Maria of Brynderwen, Bancffosfelen.

Beloved wife of Giovanni, loving mother of Elisa, Aldo, Florenzo, Silvana and the late Antonio, Proud grandmother (Nanuzz) and great grandmother, respected mother-in-law and a dear sister.

Private funeral service at Holy Cross, Catholic Church, Pontyberem on Friday 1st May 2026 at 10am.

Friends and extended family are warmly invited to attend a wake at Bancffosfelen Hall at 12.30pm following the service.

No flowers. Donations if so desired to Hywel Dda Health Charities (Ward 4 Prince Philip Hospital) or Cyril Evans Morriston Hospital C/o O.G. Harries Ltd, Funeral Directors, Pontyberem, Llanelli, SA15 5LF (01269) 870350.

So sorry to hear the sad news and not be able to be there for the funeral. On behalf of my late mum & dad, I would just like to remember Maria and her cheery personality, her generous nature and her ability to cook such splendid banquets for visitors and guests. They were very good friends and shared a love for anything Italian. A big hug to all the family we grew up with sharing so many fond memories. Marisa, Mino and Rebecca.
