Alan (my second Dad), Thank you for taking me under your wing and treating me like, as you called me, your “third daughter”. You took me with you all on every holiday you could. You gave me confidence when I didn’t have any. You taught me to love music and feel comfortable in my own skin. You made me feel safe when you knew I was scared. Your house was a safe haven for me. You and Ann were a HUGE part in making me who I am today. Thank you for being a constant male figure in my life too, especially in my teenage years.
I am forever in your debt and promise to look after Lou & Ann always.

The only man in my life that remained constant. You bought me flowers when I was sad, gave me a hug when you knew I was lonely, but best of all, you made me laugh and roll my eyes with your (in)appropriate comments ….At least you are reunited with Em.
