EdwardGLEESONOf Bessalone Drive, Belper, passed away peacefully at Presentation Sisters Care Home, Matlock, 8th June, aged 92 years. Leaving behind daughter Deborah.

The funeral service will be held at St Mary's RC Church, Bridge Gate, Derby on Monday 8th July at 11:30, followed by cremation at Markeaton Crematorium.

Edward Gleeson (or Uncle Eddie to me) was an amazing, kind human being. I heave great memories as a child in England before we left for Canada. I will truly miss our frequent phone calls which often brightened my day. The calls were both philosophical and humorous. He never complained even as he aged and his health deteriorated. The world has lost a truly wonderful person.
You’re going straight to Heaven so Rest in Peace.
