Happy memories of Audrey when we worked together at New House, and WI, keep fit, she did too much talking and laughing rather than keep fit, lovely lady xx

What can I tell you about my Cousin Audrey? I wish I had pages and many hours and that probably wouldn’t be enough.
My earliest recollections of the fun times were when I used to visit her Mum, my Auntie May and her Dad, my Uncle Albert at their home in Stubwood, playing in the nearby fields and walking in those familiar narrow lanes, devoid of cars.
Both Audrey and her wonderful husband John were just the nicest people you would want for a part of your family. Not long after they were married and settled into their home in Willington, my life evolved and soon I was married to Deana and moved away from the area.
On the many times that I visited them, the welcome mat was always out, they were one of those couples who made everything so comfortable, you just didn’t want to leave.
Life with Audrey in it was a blessing, we all made wonderful memories, time was our only villain, we neither had enough of it, whilst being thankful for that which we did have.
She was a lady who enriched so many people’s lives, to say she will be “missed” is an understatement.
Thank you Audrey for being just the best Cousin.
